Rotary was founded in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss (1849-1940) in La Chaux-de-Fonds.In the Second World War, Rotary becaome an important supplier of wristwatches for the British Army. The factory in Switzerland became a member of ASUAG.
Sporty collector's watch from Rotary - beautiful condition.
Original black dial with luminous bar indices and prefixed Arabic 12/3/6/9 numerals in a luminous colour. Classic silver spear hands with luminous colour. Hour hand has large arrow tip with luminous material. Central second hand has luminous droplets as well as being silver-coloured. Signed with ROTARY company logo with Rotamatic wheel above the six 21 jewels incabloc.
Rotating bezel - black - silver-coloured index.
Movement calibre AS 1700/1 stamped below the balance.Movement is signed Swiss 21 jewels. Fine silver-coloured calibre.
The movement is in working order.
Back lid is smooth outside - inside is smooth.
The watch was manufactured around 1960.
Watch size: 36 mm without crown. With crown 39 mm. Weight 67 g.
Original crown with company logo.
Fine steel strap with silver-coloured clasp. Strap width 18 mm total length 19 cm. Can be made shorter.
The watch is in original condition.
